?This is Paris Legion’s last chance to win a game in CDL Major 3 Qualifiers, and even if they manage to upset Toronto Ultra, they’ll still be 1-4 and likely the bottom seed for the Major. As exciting as it is to cheer for the underdogs, the Legion have yet to show anything that would lead us to believe that this is a team ready to play.
They have no strong maps, they seem to struggle on all game modes, and except for occasional glimpses of greatness, Paris Legion have achieved practically nothing this season. On a more positive note, Thomas “GRVTY” Malin and Donovan “Temp” Laroda are playing well, but they are the only players who seem to put in the work, while the rest of the squad looks defeated and demoralised.
Toronto Ultra have yet to find their 2021 form, but they’re playing well, recently beat the CDL Pro-Am champions New York Subliners (3-2), and did not play too poorly in their 2-3 defeat against the in-form Minnesota R?KKR last week.
We’ll give the Legion the benefit of the doubt and predict that they’ll win one map (Hardpoint or Search & Destroy), but that’s about as much as you can expect from this team.
Toronto Ultra to win 3-1
SEATTLE SURGE vs FLORIDA MUTINEERS CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

?Seattle Surge are not the most consistent squad in the CDL. They lost against Toronto Ultra (2-3) in the first week but then picked up two wins against Paris Legion (3-1) and Los Angeles Thieves (3-0).
On the other side, Florida Mutineers have managed just one win so far – a 3-1 result against Los Angeles Thieves. But they weren’t great against OpTic Texas (0-3), nor against Minnesota R?KKR (3-1) last Sunday.
Based on what we have seen so far, the Surge look the better team and should come out ahead, but the Mutineers are talented enough to put up a fight. This could be a very messy game that goes the distance, so the +162 on offer for over 4.5 maps is a good play.
