Last Time They Met: | (11/10/21) Movistar Riders defeated G2 2-1 (10-16, 16-8, 16-14) at IEM Fall Europe |
Watch Live: | Twitch |
G2 will enter IEM Dallas 2022 as the no.7 ranked team in the ESL world rankings, giving them the fourth seed at this event. G2 have held on to a top 10 ranking purely off their second place result at IEM Katowice 2022, but since that event the boys from G2 have been very underwhelming.
Their results at ESL Pro League (17th-20th) and the PGL Major Antwerp (9th-11th) show that they have not been to the knockout stage of their past two events, so at IEM Dallas, with a few big teams not participating, they will be looking for a much improved performance.
Movistar Riders are ranked as the no.18 team in the ESL world rankings, slightly dropping from their peak at no.12 where they had been sitting at for over a month. Since a really impressive result at ESL Pro League, where they finished 5th-8th, this Movistar Riders roster were unable to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp and didn’t actually qualify for this event. However, with NaVi and Entropiq unable to participate due to visa issues, Movistar Riders received an invite. The boys from Spain will be looking to surprise a lot of people again in this event, starting with a good performance against G2.
This match could ignite one of these rosters events with a good win here. We see G2 taking this match so we will be taking them at the rounds handicap line of -4.5, currently at $1.83 with BetOnline.
G2 -4.5
MOUZ vs ENCE CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|

Best Odds: | MOUZ-138.89 at BetOnline | ENCE +100 at BetOnline |
When: | May 30, 2022 | 11:00 CDT |
Last Time They Met: | (1/11/21) MOUZ defeated ENCE 2-0 (16-6, 16-10) at PGL Major Stockholm |
Watch Live: | Twitch |
This will be just the third S-Tier event for the no.20 ranked team in the world, MOUZ, who finished 9th-12th at IEM Katowice 2022 and then finished 13th-16th at ESL Pro League at their first two S-Tier events of the year. Since participating at ESL Pro League, MOUZ have only been playing in qualifiers; a qualifier for the PGL Major of which they didn’t qualify, ESL Challenger Valencia where they did qualify and the Closed Europe qualifier for this event where they finished second.
ENCE will be without their main man Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi for IEM Dallas, due to Visa issues and therefore Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski will stand-in for the event. They will lose nothing with the addition of ‘Snax’ as he will be the only Major winner on the roster after winning a Major with Virtus.pro back in 2014, and has multiple semi-final Major appearances throughout his career. ENCE have made the last 4 in their last three events; the ESL Pro League, BLAST Premier Spring Showdown and the PGL Major Antwerp. As a result, ENCE will be looking to go one better and try and get their first win of the year.
The top betting sites may have got these odds wrong, with the no.3 ranked team in the world, ENCE, coming up as the $2 underdogs, and MOUZ are the favourites as the no.20 ranked team. We are siding with the underdogs here to take the victory as we see them going deep into another event.
ENCE To Win
Astralis vs Vitality CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Astralis +120 at BetOnline | Vitality -163.93 at BetOnline |
When: | May 30, 2022 | 12:10 CDT |
Last Time They Met: | (10/5/22) Vitality defeated Astralis 16-8 PGL Major Antwerp Challengers Stage |
Watch Live: | Twitch |
Astralis will be looking for a change of fortune at IEM Dallas, after they have been quite unlucky in a few of their most recent matches at the PGL Major Antwerp, causing them to lose and get knocked out of the event before the knockout stage. The no.12 ranked team in the world have made changes with their roster since 2022 started and there has been very little success since the changes were made, with a 5th-8th place finish at ESL Pro League and not even making the PGL Major main event for the first time in over 3 years. The Danes will be looking for a change in form in this event otherwise they could soon be on the slide out of the top 20.
Vitality enters IEM Dallas 2022 off the back of one of their better performances for 2022 after they were the 1st placed team out of the Challengers stage at the PGL Major and then finishing 9th-11th at the main event. The no.10 ranked team in the world will be looking to take their form out of the Major into this event and hopefully keep improving with their new roster. Vitality could be one of the dark horses to go deep into this event if they keep up the form from their recent matches.
Vitality are deserved favourites in this match and they hold a recent best-of-one victory over Astralis, so we will be taking Vitality at the rounds handicap of -2.5, currently at $1.90 with BetOnline.
Astralis -2.5

FaZe Clan are the no.1 ranked team in the world and they are by far and away the best team at IEM Dallas. Everyone will have to play out of their skins to beat the reigning IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League and PGL Major champions of 2022. FaZe will be looking to start this event off strong, something they have been lacking in their last few event starts, however this is the only negative to speak of in relation to this outstanding team. In our previous preview of IEM Dallas we have named FaZe Clan as our best bet to win IEM Dallas, so we believe that FaZe will be very hard to beat here.
Looking For Org will be participating in their second S-Tier event this year after they participated in ESL Pro League where they finished 21st-24th which will be invaluable experience that should help them at IEM Dallas. The no.70 ranked team in the world will still struggle to win a match at this event, but there is no doubt that they are going to continue to rise up the rankings and be taking part in these types of events more and more regularly.
FaZe Clan will be winning this match and we cannot suggest to back the favourites at the very short $1.03, therefore we will be taking them at the rounds handicap of -8.5, currently at $1.83 with BetOnline.
