Invictus Gaming, while a household name in the Chinese esports scene are not nearly as strong and consistent as they were before the transition to online play and now seem more like a solid B-tier team rather than legitimate The International title contenders.
IG enter this match with a 3-8 record since the start of December and with only one win in their last six outings. On a more positive note, IG already bested Team MagMa (2-0) last month, however, it was a close series that could have ended either way.
