?Golden Guardians and TSM last met at the start of June, when TSM won in just north of 31 minutes, with a 5.6k gold lead and 16-10 in kills. TSM have since won eight out of 12 outings, while Golden Guardians managed only four wins during the same stretch with victories against FlyQuest (twice), Dignitas, and Counter Logic Gaming.
Golden Guardians enter this match with a new top laner in Eric “Licorice” Ritchie, who signed with the team on Tuesday and will replace Colin “Solo” Earnest. Acquiring a former Cloud9 top laner seems like a massive upgrade, and while Licorice hasn’t had the most successful season, he is still one of the most talented players in his position.
Adding a new player on such short notice will likely negatively affect the team’s synergy and lead to some growing pains. That’s the main reason why backing GG to cause an upset isn’t something we’re too excited about, but considering how uncoordinated TSM looked last week, we have faith in the underdogs to keep this bout close.
Golden Guardians +7.5 kills

? Team Liquid field a much more talented roster, but that hasn’t helped them outperform Immortals, who share the same 8-7 record on the summer season. Both teams are also 1-3 in their last four outings, with losses to the same group of teams in Cloud9, 100 Thieves, and TSM.
On those results, you could argue that IMT and Team Liquid are evenly matched, and while that might sound like a hot take, their overall showings on the season would confirm the claim.
Immortals looked good early into the LCS 2021 Summer and only started to struggle last week, whereas Liquid were mediocre at most throughout the entire season. Team Liquid might have a much higher ceiling, but if we go off these teams’ performances across the last couple of weeks, it doesn’t make much sense to have them priced as -196.08 favourites.
Immortals +5.5 kills

?100 Thieves enter LCS 2021 Summer Week 6 with a 24-9 record across the 2021 season and are 13-2 on the summer season. Despite what their record would suggest, 100T have some noticeable flaws.
The main issue with 100T is their lacklustre late-game, particularly their inability to close out their games efficiently. Their next opponents, Evil Geniuses, seem pretty efficient in that department but lack in some other areas and are generally a very volatile team.
Regardless of EG’s tendency to flip their games, they shouldn’t be priced as high as $2.95 to win on Saturday. They might be a hit-or-miss team at times, but EG are known to do well against LCS top dogs. This is a classic “pick EG and hope the coin lands on the correct side” situation.
Evil Geniuses to win

?Cloud9 might have had a handful of iffy performances throughout the summer season, but the reigning LCS champions have been showing improvement over the last few weeks. Dignitas are 3-2 in their last five, but they haven’t won against any notable team outside of TSM, and even that was a complete fluke.
Dignitas are not very good, and their last two outings would confirm that. They can have their moments, but it seems like they can only win games where their opponents shoot themselves in the foot.
Cloud9 need to start winning games, and they have the talent to do so. While they might struggle against the top teams for a while longer, losing against Dignitas and other mid-table teams isn’t an option.
