Victory Five enter this match straight off a 2-0 victory against Rogue Warriors on Sunday which marked their third win of the season. They previously bested Bilibili Gaming (2-1) and LGD Gaming (2-1) but were not as successful against Team WE (1-2) last Wednesday, which begs the question: how will they fare against Royal Never Give Up, who have yet to lose a single match this split?
The esports bookmakers have RNG rightly priced as favourites, but the odds seem lopsided. At +144, V5 are criminally underrated, and anyone who has watched their games can agree they are very close to their LPL 2020 Summer form when they were one of the top five teams in the league.
These teams are much closer quality-wise than what the betting odds suggest. V5 have the tools to win and we are happy to take a shot with them.
Victory Five to win

LNG Esports seem much improved from last season, but looking at the latest LoL betting odds, it appears like everyone is overreacting a bit. We must give them some credit for defeating Invictus Gaming (2-0) last Wednesday, but that game was more IG losing rather than LGD winning.
We shouldn’t get blinded by LGD’s victory over IG. Instead we should take into consideration that this team has dropped a map against ThunderTalk Gaming, which quickly proves LGD are a bid overhyped. We are not too excited about Bilibili Gaming either, but they’ve had some flashes of greatness, namely their solid showing against Victory Five last Monday.
Bilibili are showing some promise and seem to have a good idea of how to play their games, whereas LNG don’t. We expect a close affair and would even go so far as to say Bilibili can win if they don’t hand LNG an early lead as IG did.
