Ninjas in Pyjamas are 1-1, with a victory against Ultra Prime (2-0) and a loss against Rare Atom (0-2). On the other side, JD Gaming enter this bout with a perfect record, albeit they’ve only played one game so far when they beat BIlibili Gaming (2-1).
JD Gaming are heavily favoured to win, which makes sense since this is arguably one of the strongest teams in the world, while Ninjas in Pyjamas are a tier below. But even though we would rank NiP below JDG, the price difference here is quite large.
Ninjas in Pyjamas will never have the same ceiling as JD Gaming, and their chances to win the LPL crown are substantially lower. However, they’ve been playing well, and we can’t say whether JDG will show their full potential on Thursday.
Ninjas in Pyjamas should be the underdogs, but we wouldn’t price them higher than +250. This is a longshot bet, but there’s enough value for us to recommend a smaller stake on NiP.

The second match of the day will feature another clash between a top-tier team in Top Esports and a lesser squad in Rare Atom. TES are 1-1 with a win against Anyone’s Legend (2-0) and a defeat against Weibo Gaming (0-2), while Rare Atom have played two games and won both against LGD Gaming (2-1) and Ninas in Pyjamas (2-0).
With only a handful of games on the record, it’s hard to make any conclusions, but it’s easy to see why Top Esports are strong favourites to win with LoL betting sites. They’re one of the main contenders for the LPL title, and barring any surprises, TES shouldn’t be losing games like that.
But this is still Top Esports, who are known to underdeliver against lesser squads occasionally. Moreover, we wouldn’t say that Rare Atom are a terrible team. On the contrary, they’ve had relatively solid games so far and it’s hard to find any major flaws in their games.
