?CLG Academy are 3-1-0 after the first two weeks of NA Academy 2022 Spring, with a draw against Cloud9 and wins against TSM, Immortals, and Team Liquid. Meanwhile, FlyQuest Academy have managed only one win, against Immortals, but lost to 100 Thieves, Dignitas, and Evil Geniuses.
FlyQuest have had some decent showings, but we don’t see how they’ll manage to stop CLG’s top laner Niship “Dhokla” Doshi and jungler Tae-ho “RoseThorn” Kim, who are two of the best academy players in their respective roles.
The esports betting sites are offering +162 on FlyQuest to cause an upset, which may seem a bit too generous, but it’s a fair price. Even though it’s hard to judge a team after only four matches, CLG looked much cleaner in their games – which, on top of the fact that they field better individual players, should earn them a comfortable win.

?Evil Geniuses Academy have managed only one win, two draws, and a loss, which isn’t great, but they have played well enough to catch our attention. That goes especially for their bottom laner Muhammed Hasan “Kaori” ?entürk, who carried his team over FlyQuest with 11/1/7 on Jhin and capped the week with a 9/0/7 performance on Jinx to bring Evil Geniuses back to .500.
Although he is the only standout player for Evil Geniuses, he has a solid squad around him, so as long as Kaori can keep playing this well, EG should be in a good spot. On the other hand, TSM Academy are 1-0-3, but the roster also had to play in the LCS 2022 Lock-In, so we expect them to look much better now that they can focus on the academy league.
Still, until we see a bit more from ADC Tony “Instinct” Ng, it’s hard to take TSM over EG, who should be in full control of the bottom side of the map, which should translate to easy drakes and a clear path to victory.
