Atlanta FaZe will play back-to-back games, as they first have to meet with Las Vegas Legion on Friday and play London Royal Ravens 21 hours later. But this won’t matter as it’s unlikely that they’ll be fatigued. Even if FaZe aren’t at 100%, they shouldn’t struggle against the Royal Ravens.
FaZe have not looked too good of late (for their standards), but they’re still vastly superior to the London Royal Ravens. Unlike Atlanta FaZe, who are legitimate contenders to win the league, London Royal Ravens are one of the leading candidates to win the wooden spoon.
There’s not much to analyse here, nor can we find a good reason to believe London Royal Ravens can do much. This should be a quick 3-0 victory for Atlanta FaZe. The FaZe -2.5 maps is paying $1.85 with sports betting sites.
LOS ANGELES THIEVES vs FLORIDA MUTINEERS CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAIL |

---|---|
Best Odds: | Thieves -625 at BetOnline | Mutineers +350 at BetOnline |
When: | May 13, 2023 |16:30 EDT |

Florida Mutineers won their CDL Major 5 Qualifiers Week 1 match against Los Angeles Guerrillas (3-2), but that doesn’t mean much considering it was Mutineers’ only second victory over a nine-game stretch. The only other team Florida Mutineers won against were Las Vegas Legion in the CDL Major 4 lower bracket.
Los Angeles Thieves won their first CDL Major trophy last month when they defeated OpTic Texas (4-2) in CDL Major 4 finals. However, despite entering CDL Major 5 Qualifiers with a run of eight wins and just one loss (8-1), they stumbled in the first week and lost to Toronto Ultra (1-3) and New York Sublibers (2-3).
Those results are slightly concerning, but Toronto Ultra and New York Subliners are two powerful teams, whereas the Mutineers aren’t. There’s a world where the Mutineers sneak in a map, but we’re ready to take a chance with the Thieves to sweep.
SEATTLE SURGE vs OPTIC TEXAS CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAIL |

Best Odds: | Surge +250 at BetOnline | Optic -357.14 at BetOnline |
When: | May 13, 2023 |18:00 EDT |

The second day of CDL Major 5 Qualifiers Week 2 will end with another lopsided match, as Seattle Surge take on OpTic Texas, who are fresh off another CDL Major finals appearance.
Seattle Surge have had some good moments this season, but their showing at CDL Major 4 was very concerning. They lost against FaZe (1-3), won against the Guerrillas (2-3), but then got eliminated by Minnesota R?KKR (2-3). And with results like that, it’s hard to believe they can compete with OpTic.
If Amer “Pred” Zulbeari performs well, the Surge can steal a map from OpTic C likely the first Hardpoint C but anything beyond that seems unlikely.

]]>The post OpTic Texas completes Call of Duty roster, adding Cuyler “Huke” Garland appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>Huke, who started his professional career right away in 2015, has represented some of the best North American Call of Duty teams. These teams include FaZe Clan, Team Envy, Splyce, Dallas Empire, Los Angeles Thieves and most recently, the Los Angeles Guerrillas.
The multi-national player, who also holds Dutch and Saudi Arabian citizenship, has displayed his prowess in both the domestic and international COD scene.
He graced the Call of Duty World League Championship in 2018 while representing Team Envy. Huke and Team Envy were able to garner a resounding fifth-sixth place finish. Sadly, in the following year, they could only come as far as finishing in 9th-10th place at the 2019 CWL Pro League.
Moving on to his next team, the Dallas Empire, which he joined in October 2019, he made performed better, which can be attributed to an increased work ethic.
At the 2020 Call of Duty League Week 2 in London, Dallas Empire came in second. A more progressive result was achieved at subsequent events, as the team painstakingly garnered back-to-back first places in Week 4 of the same event in Los Angeles, Week 6 in Chicago, and Week 12 in London and ended up being the champions of the 2020 Modern Warfare season.
Huke will be starting off his new adventure in OpTic Gaming by reuniting with two of his former teammates from Dallas Empire, Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro and Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal.
OpTic Texas had a saddening run last season despite being recognized as one of the most top teams in the region. One of these poor performances was the teams inability to pass the group stage of the Call of Duty League Stage One Major. Their poor performances led to the ejection of their longtime player Brandon “Dashy” Otell and Canadian player iLLeY from the team on August 17 of last year. However, the team made a U-turn on this decision and added them back to the roster.
The formidable OpTic Texas roster now consists of Huke, Dashy, iLLeY, 21-year-old American Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro, Seth “Scump” Abner and their head coach Raymond “Rambo” Lussier, who also serves as the esports outfits general manager.
The team is scheduled to face the Boston Breach in their Stage Two major qualifiers on Jan. 15, giving them just one week to prepare.

]]>The post Arcitys joins Los Angeles Guerrillas for Call of Duty League season appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The LA Guerrillas announced the move via their Twitter page, as well as the rest of its starting roster for the upcoming CDL season.? ?
Besides Arcitys, the other three players announced by the team include Cuyler Huke Garland, Travis Neptune McCloud and Kris Spart Cervantez. The trio is three-fourths of the group that concluded the 2022 CDL season with the team.?
?The roster is the same lineup that surfaced days after the former FaZe player revealed that he was now a restricted free agent. Arcitys made the announcement on August 18, suggesting that he was taken off the roster due to making changes to its lineup.? ?
Arcitys was a part of the FaZe roster for two seasons and played a crucial role in enabling the team to earn the title of most consistent team, during his stint with the franchise. While in FaZe, Arcitys won a number of tournaments in Black Ops: Cold War and the COD Champs 2021.
Although the team did not win a tournament in Vanguard this year, they finished in second place four times.? ?Arcitys move from the team indicates that FaZe will have to choose a player to fill his spot.
The players previous teammates in FaZe include McArthur “Cellium” Jovel, Chris “Simp” Lehr, and Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris.?
?Recently, Arcitys took to Twitter to talk about the issues surrounding his move from FaZe, explaining that this past season, the team did not have any trust or respect amongst themselves.
He claimed the environment was not comfortable for him and maintained that the new change was very much welcome. The 24-year-old concluded by saying: playing some days I questioned if they wanted me, but like I said, its what everyone needed I cant wait for this new team.? ?
Many felt Arcitys announcement that he was a restricted free agent was related to OpTic Texas previous notice that their player, Brandon Dashy Otell was also in restricted free agency.
A swap between the two teams was expected, but OpTic eventually opted to keep Dashy on the team.? ?It is not certain how Arcitys became a part of the LA Guerrillas. However, due to his restricted agent status, the team had to pay a buyout fee for the player.?
?During the 2022 season, the LA Guerrillas recorded a number of wins, but were unable to finish the season strong. In April, the team won Major 2, its first CDL tournament. However, they failed to reach the top eight standings at the end of the regular season.? ?
The LA Guerrillas were also unable to qualify for the COD Championship 2022. The lineup at the end of the season included Spart, Huke, Neptune, and Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat.?
?Among the three players selected for the new rosters, Spart will be in charge of the flex and Neptune and Huke will play the SMG duo. The new player, Arcitys, will play the main AR.?
?The LA Guerrillas are also in the market for a new head coach in preparation for the Modern Warfare 2 Season. After parting ways with Embry “Bevils” Bevil, the previous head coach of the team, on August 9, the LA Guerrillas did not announce the next person to take up the spot. Previous assistant coach Richard “Ricky” Stacy will man the position of LA Guerrillas team manager.

]]>The post Call of Duty League’s 2023 schedule has leaked appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The season’s tentative schedule will be revealed soon, according to reports. The first major will take place concurrently from December 15 to December 18.
“I have obtained leaked internal documents that appear to reveal the full CDL 2023 season schedule.” An esports reporter, Jacob Hale, tweeted.
Below is a list of the alleged schedule for Call of Duty League:
Major 1 Pro-Am: December 15-18, 2022
Major 2: February 2-5, 2023
Major 3: March 9-12, 2023
Major 4: April 20-23, 2023
Major 5: May 25-28, 2023
CDL Champs: June 15-18, 2023
Ever since they introduced the Call of Duty League in the year 2020, Activision has been busy working to improve the schedule and overall structure.
The global health crisis caused the Home Series format to be scrapped in 2020, but in 2021 and 2022, they began to use online qualifier matches as a stepping stone toward the Majors, which were team-hosted LAN events for every franchise.
Players and fans together have repeatedly offered methodologies to enhance the schedule, along with an early commencement date, tournaments for Challengers competitors to face off against the pros, and several other ideas.
At least according to the records that were leaked, the concerns of fans seem to have been heard.
The full calendar that was found in the leak reveals that there are several bye weeks in between the main events, which take place approximately once every month. According to sources, the season will reach its climax with the CDL Championship Weekend, which will take place from June 15 to 18.
This is going to put the CDL on a very different schedule than it has had in the past, which saw the league beginning in January or February and continuing until August. This timetable is going to be very different. The couple of months that pass between the introduction of a completely new game and the beginning of a CDL season is the rumoured model that would help relieve that concern in a significant way.
According to the report, the CDL as a whole will be in charge of hosting the 1st Major as well as the Championship Weekend. Individual CDL organizations will be responsible for organizing the 2nd through 5th Majors.
The debut of Trendy Warfare 2 is scheduled for October 28. This will allow players and teams to have well over a month of practice time before the first main event of the season begins in December, while also making the most of the excitement surrounding the launch window for the brand new title.
Although reports have confirmed this schedule, it is important to keep in mind that the dates as well as the calendar itself are susceptible to change.
The Call of Duty League stated: “We have been working closely with our teams to finalize the 2023 season schedule, exploring several draft options these last few months. A full season reveal is planned for this fall with more information on dates and locations for each event.”

]]>?Besides the mentioned players, next year will see Richard “Ricky” Stacy, a captain of the Call of Duty esports squad, promoted from his previous position to that of a team manager as the franchise actively commences their search for a full coaching staff.?
An update on @LAGuerrillas plans:
We have taken the 2023 Options of @SlasheR_AL, @Huke, @NNeptuunE, @GstaAsim and @itsSpart while we explore options for our roster next season. @Ricky will be transitioning to Team Manager and we are currently searching for a full coaching staff.

?On August 9, the LA Guerrillas parted ways with their coach, Embry “Bevils” Bevil. The team also decided not to extend the 2023 option for Pierce Gunless Hillman.? ?Gunless was previously benched in June in time for the Major IV and substituted for Spart in the teams starting lineup. Gunless was then forced out for Spart due to illness during the second stage of the season.?
?The LA Guerrillas did not have the most stable record in the 2022 COD League season because, while they came out as champions in a major event, for the second consecutive season, they could not qualify for the CDL Playoffs.?
?The LA Guerrillas began the 2022 COD season with their seasoned players, Asim, Huke, SlasheR, and Gunless, until the latter was unable to perform in the second stage of the season.
Spart, who took his place, played an important role in the franchise’s winning streak in the Major II, where Spart was awarded the MVP.? ?They emerged as winners of the Major II in April with an astonishing 5-2 win over the Atlanta FaZe.
However, they were unable to replicate the championship level after that amazing run.? ?During the Pro-Am Classic, LA Guerrillas registered a 0-3 record, along with a 3-2 defeat handed out by the Toronto Ultra NA Academy roster.
Then, after a 0-2 start to the third stage of the season, the team changed their lineup once again. The LA Guerrillas reverted their decision and brought Gunless back into the lineup to replace Spart having recovered from his illness.? ?
Owing to the franchise’s poor campaign in the third Major, having finished in the top-12 position. Spart was promoted back to the starting lineup and Gunless was relegated to the bench as a substitute. The LA Guerrillas also signed on Neptune to replace Asim to give the team a better fighting chance.? ?
Neptune, who was previously a part of the New York Subliners, was brought on in a bid to help the team qualify for the CDL Playoffs. However, despite winning Major II LA Guerrillas won only four matches.? ?The teams unimpressive performance at the end of the season deprived them of garnering enough CDL points to seal an eighth-seed spot at the COD Champs 2022. They instead finished in 10th.
The LA Guerrillas could have a better performance in the 2023 season due to their decision to extend the selected five players. However, theres still a possibility the team could make changes to their roster by trading within the CDL. The 2023 CDL season will reportedly start between November and December and be played on Modern Warfare 2.

This match doesn’t mean much, as neither team will be competing for an upper seed for the CDL Stage 4 Major. As a meaningless match between two of the worst teams in the league, we don’t expect any spectacular plays, while the player’s morale and motivation are also somewhat questionable.
If we had to pick a side, it would be the Royal Ravens, even though they’re priced as the underdogs. Although they were equally as unsuccessful as the Guerrillas on paper, the British-American squad are playing much better of late.
You could also argue that the London Royal Ravens field more talent on the team even though that rarely shows in-game. We expect a 3-1 victory for Sean “Seany” O’Connor and his crew on Saturday.
MINNESOTA R?KKR vs ATLANTA FAZE CDL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Atlanta FaZe hold a perfect 4-0 record and 12-1 map differential, which guarantees them an upper seed for the CDL Stage 4 Major. Minnesota R?KKR are tied with Chicago OpTic in second with a 2-1 record, meaning that they can still drop out of the top three, however, it’s unlikely that they will finish inside the bottom two.
Minnesota R?KKR haven’t looked too great this stage, but they’re at least consistent against weaker sides. The R?KKR might be a decent team, but they’re still a class below the in-form Atlanta FaZe.
FaZe have proven time and time again that they’re the best team in the league, and it’s hard to argue against that. They have reached the finals of every Major of the CoD: Black Ops Cold War season and have yet to show any signs of weakness.
DALLAS EMPIRE vs FLORIDA MUTINEERS |

This is a crucial fixture that could impact the final Group B seeding for the Major. Florida Mutineers sit in second with a 3-1 record, however, they’re only one win clear of Dallas Empire in fourth (2-2) with only one more match left to be played.
Dallas Empire enter this fixture off a 2-3 loss against New York Subliners, where they looked good and should have probably won the series. The Mutineers’ only loss of the stage came against the Subliners (2-3) in another tight affair that could have ended either way.
It’s hard to set these two teams apart if we look solely at the results they’ve put up, but the eye test confirms that Florida Mutineers are the better team. Travis “Neptune” McCloud has been playing lights-out of late and is a big reason why the Mutineers are so difficult to stop. If he can step up here, Florida shouldn’t struggle too much.
We predict a 3-1 victory for Neptune and his crew, although you can’t go wrong with betting on Florida Mutineers at $1.72.

Toronto Ultra are on fire heading into their final match of CDL Stage 3 and considering Florida Mutineers (0-3), Dallas Empire (0-3), Los Angeles Guerrillas (0-3), and Minnesota R?KKR (1-3) werent able to stop them, it’s more than fair to say Paris Legion won’t be able to either.
It’s quite shocking to see such a good price on Toronto Ultra given how dominant they currently are and how unconvincing the Legion have been. Legions only notable performance of this stage came on Sunday when they beat Mutineers (3-1), yet even that seemed more like a fluke win rather than any indication of their strength.
Until Toronto Ultra start showing signs of slowing down, you can’t make a strong case against them – especially when faced with a team like Paris Legion. A two-map victory should be easily achievable for the favourites, while the real dreamers might want to consider a -2.5 map handicap bet at almost double the odds at esports betting sites.

New York Subliners are a team that don’t receive much respect. Even though their recent results arent exactly spectacular, we have faith that this team will find their form and fight for a top-four finish in the CDL Championship.
Their next opponents, the Los Angeles Thieves weren’t very good nor were they consistent early into their debut season, however, that’s about to change with the arrival of Cuyler “Huke” Garland. With Huke on the team, LA Thieves now field what is arguably the deadliest roster in the league.
It’s hard to pick between these two sides. LA Thieves field a very stacked roster that is still lacking some synergy, whereas NY Subliners have the experience and the firepower, but are heavily underperforming. There are many questions without a clear answer, but at the offered odds, you have to take the outsiders.
