GEN.G vs TOP ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | Gen.G -285.71 at BetOnline | TES +209 at BetOnline |
When: | July 5, 2024 | 18:00 AST |

Gen.G are outright favourites in League of Legends Esports World Cup 2024 title betting, priced at +125. This puts them well ahead of Bilibili Gaming at +250, and for good reason.
Gen.G are the most successful team of the season. They won LoL Champions Korea (LCK) 2024 Spring, secured their maiden Mid-Season Invitational title in May, and won all six of their LCK 2024 Summer series.
Nevertheless, the gap between the elite teams is exaggerated, and we shouldn’t be getting +209 on a Top Esports outfit that pushed Gen.G to five maps in May. The value is with the underdogs.
FLYQUEST vs G2 ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | FLY +500 at BetOnline | G2 -909.09 at BetOnline |
When: | July 5, 2024 | 21:00 AST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ewc) |
At the offered LoL esports betting odds, FlyQuest are given only a 16.7% implied probability of winning the series. While thats a very low number, it shouldnt surprise anyone.
While they both come from major leagues, the quality gap between G2 Esports and FlyQuest is significant. G2 are by far the best non-Asian LoL esports team, while FlyQuest are hardly the second-best squad from the LoL Championship Series (LCS).
Even at MSI 2024, it was evident that FlyQuest were not at the level to compete against elite teams, and theyve not shown any improvement since. Anything less than a 2-0 sweep for the European champions would be a massive disappointment.

BILIBILI GAMING vs T1 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | BLG -163.93 at BetOnline | T1 +126 at BetOnline |
When: | July 4, 2024 | 18:00 AST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ewc) |
Bilibili Gaming are 2-0 up in the head-to-head against T1 this year, beating them twice at Mid-Season Invitational 2024. The first meeting ended 3-1 in favour of the Chinese squad, but they needed five to make it past T1 in the lower-bracket final.
That said, the difference in quality between the two squads isnt that significant. T1 have looked a bit shakier in their league, where theyre 4-2, but Bilibili Gamings 5-1 record at LPL Summer Placements 2024 hardly means much considering the teams they’ve faced.
The last meetings between T1 and BLG were fairly close, which makes backing the favourites far less appealing. T1 are still a world-class team and an excellent bet as outsiders.
TEAM LIQUID vs FNATIC LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | TL -101.01 at BetOnline | Fnatic -128.21 at BetOnline |
When: | July 4, 2024 | 21:00 AST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ewc) |
Team Liquid eliminated Fnatic from the Mid-Season Invitational in May, yet theyre priced as underdogs for this series. This makes sense for two reasons: Liquid overperformed in China, and they looked unconvincing across the first few rounds of LCS 2024 Summer.
Fnatic ended their run through the LEC 2024 Summer regular season in fourth place after losing to Team Heretics and Team BDS in the final week. But some may argue that those losses benefited them, so they dont hold much weight.
For most of the split, Fnatic have looked excellent. Even though the Europeans collapsed in their last appearance on an international stage, its hard to justify taking Liquids side at this number.

TEAM BDS vs ROGUE LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | BDS +105 at BetOnline | Rogue -144.93 at BetOnline |
When: | June 22, 2024 | 17:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Rogue are 1-4 after two weeks of action. They have not produced a single good game and their only victory came against MAD Lions KOI, who seem to be in an even worse spot than them.
Team BDS kicked off the split with three victories against Team Vitality, Team Heretics, and G2 Esports, then fell against the surging SK Gaming and beat Karmine Corp. The loss against SK pushed BDS down the power rankings but hasn’t eliminated them from contention for a top-four finish.
Team BDS should crush Rogue, but the kill line is set a bit too high — not necessarily because BDS can’t cover 10 kills, but because this will likely be a very quick match.
TEAM HERETICS vs SK GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Heretics +164 at BetOnline | SK -217.39 at BetOnline |
When: | June 22, 2024 | 17:45 CEST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Team Heretics have done relatively well in this LoL EMEA Championship split, beating GIANTX in the first week and taking down Karmine Corp last Sunday. This doesn’t prove much, however, as neither of those opponents are much good.
SK Gaming, meanwhile, have looked incredible so far. They’ve picked up four wins and lost just once — against Fnatic on Sunday. Yet even that game was much closer than what the final score would suggest.
SK Gaming are arguably the second-best-performing team in the LEC. While their ceiling is somewhat limited, their fast-paced style should counter everything Heretics want to accomplish in their games.
TEAM VITALITY vs GIANTX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Vitality -232.56 at BetOnline | GIANTX +176 at BetOnline |
When: | June 22, 2024 | 18:30 CEST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Team Vitality didn’t start this split well. But after three tough losses, Vitality found momentum and won both games in LEC 2024 Summer Week 2 against MAD Lions KOI and Team Heretics.
GIANTX are 1-4, with their only victory coming against the struggling MAD Lions KOI. There’s a world where GIANTX improve, but their ceiling is very limited and they looked terrible in their four defeats.
While Team Vitality are volatile, they have the potential to be one of the league’s top three teams. As long as they can stay on track and show the same level of performance as they did last week, Vitality should come out ahead with a few kills to spare.
MAD LIONS KOI vs FNATIC LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | MAD Lions +313 at BetOnline | Fnatic -454.55 at BetOnline |
When: | June 22, 2024 | 20:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
MAD Lions KOI looked great in LEC 2024 Winter, but despite fielding the same players, they haven’t looked the same over the first two weeks of this split. Their once-strong teamwork has deteriorated significantly and they’re struggling to get ADC David “Supa” Martnez Garca into the game.
Fnatic, on the other hand, are already guaranteed a top-eight finish in LEC 2024 Summer. They have been improving since last split and now look like a serious threat for the European trophy, although they first have to prove they’re better than G2 Esports.
Even though Fnatic will occasionally be overly confident and shoot themselves in the foot, their form so far has been phenomenal. This should end in a dominant victory for the Black & Orange.

INVICTUS GAMING vs ANYONE’S LEGEND LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | IG +412 at BetOnline | AL -666.67 at BetOnline |
When: | June 11, 2024 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Invictus Gaming enter the second week of LoL Pro League 2024 Summer Placements with two three-map losses to Ultra Prime and Weibo Gaming. A slow start was expected after the numerous roster changes, and some degree of instability should continue this week.
Anyone’s Legend picked up a massive victory on Saturday when they beat Ninjas in Pyjamas in two maps, adding to their clean sweep of Ultra Prime last Tuesday. The change from Wang “Hery” He-Yong to Hu “Ale” Jia-Le was very noticeable, and while there were some questions about how Anyone’s Legend will do against stiffer opponents, their victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas proved enough.
Invictus Gaming are still a bit shaky, and even if they find their rhythm, they’re not at the same level as Anyone’s Legend. AL already had strong performance figures in the LPL 2024 Spring, and with an upgraded roster, they should do more than fine against lesser squads.
NINJAS IN PYJAMAS vs ULTRA PRIME LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | NiP -1250 at BetOnline | UP +614 at BetOnline |
When: | June 11, 2024 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Ninjas in Pyjamas are a pretty good team with very talented players, but as already seen in LPL 2024 Spring, they’re also sloppy. Over their first two series of the LPL 2024 Summer Placement, NiP have not shown any significant improvement, and even though that’s a very small sample size, Ninjas in Pyjamas are not to be trusted as big favourites until they prove otherwise.
Ultra Prime should get smashed by Ninjas in Pyjamas. However, on Sunday, Ultra Prime proved to be fairly efficient against teams who aren’t decisive enough with a 2-1 victory over Weibo Gaming.
Ultra Prime are not real title contenders, but Ninjas in Pyjamas are an easy fade as $1.08 favourites with esports betting sites.

RARE ATOM vs OH MY GOD LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | RA +119 at BetOnline | OMG -153.85 at BetOnline |
When: | June 6, 2024 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Oh My God have not added any new players this offseason, so they enter the LPL 2024 Summer Placements with a lot of continuity. They did enough in LPL 2024 Spring to sneak into the playoffs, yet OMG weren’t exactly title contenders.
Rare Atom, on the other side, missed the spring playoffs completely, with just four wins to their name. Unsurprisingly, they decided to rebuild for the second half of the year.
Bringing in top-laner Liu “Yu” Yu, jungler Peng “Xiaohao” Hao, and Sun “Jwei” Jun-Wei, Rare Atom cut the dead weight and added players who could fit in with their aggressive style of play. But while this iteration could do better, it’s hard to imagine Rare Atom competing for top spots.
Considering Oh My God are not that good, there are priced as heavy favourites with esports betting sites. Even though Rare Atom still have to prove that their new lineup will work, they have the right tools to be feisty underdogs.
ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP vs BILIBILI GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | RNG +726 at BetOnline | BLG -1666.67 at BetOnline |
When: | June 6, 2024 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Royal Never Give Up enter this match off a crushing 2-0 loss to Team WE in a series where they choked with a 5k gold lead on the second map. Throwing away massive leads isn’t indicative of any significant problem, and it perhaps has more to do with the fact that RNG’s new signings — mid-laner Liu “Xzz” Zhu and ADC Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng — haven’t had a chance to settle in yet.
There are reasons to feel optimistic about Royal Never Give Up, but not for this match. Bilibili Gaming are one of the best LoL esports teams in the world, performing at an exceptional level both individually and as a unit.
They’ve played a ton of games this season, so there is a chance some fatigue could be settling in. Still, this is not the game where you’d bet against the Mid-Season Invitational 2024 runners-up.
Royal Never Give Up will have side choice, so we’re taking Bilibili to win their map pick with 10 kills to spare.

LGD GAMING vs TEAM WE LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | LGD +182 at BetOnline | WE -243.9 at BetOnline |
When: | June 5, 2024 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
LGD Gaming finished League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2024 Spring in 12th place with just six victories, but this number is a bit misleading. LGD performed well in the first half of the season and consistently put themselves in advantageous positions; the problem was they were extremely bad at converting that to positive results.
This roster severely underachieved, so it makes sense that LGD Gaming decided not to make any roster changes. Even though they won’t be competing for the title, they should be in the race for a spot in the playoffs if they find a way to convert their leads — which they had in 60% of their LPL 2024 Spring games at 20 minutes.
Team WE made some roster changes last month, targeting their bottom lane, which shouldn’t make WE significantly better or worse. So unless something goes terribly wrong, Team WE should remain a potent underdog with a limited ceiling.
There are reasons to have Team WE priced as favourites, including their strong showing against Royal Never Give Up on Sunday. But LGD Gaming are good enough to do some damage and force a close series.
EDWARD GAMING vs JD GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | EDG +360 at BetOnline | JDG -555.56 at BetOnline |
When: | June 5, 2024 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
EDward Gaming’s decision to replace their support in LPL 2024 Spring didn’t work out, and they enter the second half of the season following another questionable move, having allowed top-laner Hu “Ale” Jia-Le to move to Anyone’s Legend. But they’ve also brought in some promising additions.
Rather than taking a gamble on unproven talent, EDward Gaming added mid-laner Yuan “Cryin” Cheng-Wei and support Zhang “Wink” Rui, who should introduce some stability and fix the gaping holes. Even with Wink and Cryin, this roster doesn’t scream LPL title contenders, but all five members are LPL calibre — which should help EDG reclaim their position as a solid mid-table team.
All that still might not be enough to defeat JD Gaming, who kept their roster intact and brought in head coach Chen “WarHorse” Ju-Chih. The former Flash Wolves and Top Esports tactician alone should help JD take a step forward, in which case we can start talking about LPL title ambitions and a deep run at the LoL World Championship.

ANYONES LEGEND vs ULTRA PRIME LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | AL -434.78 at BetOnline | UP +295 at BetOnline |
When: | June 4, 2024 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Anyones Legend managed to produce a few flashy upsets in League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2024 Spring, but their overall performances were very poor, resulting in a disappointing 11th-place finish. For the final split of the season, Anyones Legend addressed one weak spot with the addition of top laner Hu “Ale” Jia-Le, but there are still some macro problems theyll have to improve on in order to accomplish anything.
Theres some upside to this team, and if Anyones Legend can work on their approach in the mid-late game, theyll remain feisty underdogs. However, all that is a big ‘what if’.
Ultra Prime have already played their first match of LPL 2024 Summer Placements, winning against Invictus Gaming 2-1. This doesnt prove much, as Invictus Gaming are one of the weaker rosters in the league, and the eye test suggests Ultra Prime arent much better than last split.
It is anything but surprising, as Ultra Prime didnt replace some of their weaker players during the offseason. At the very least, things cant get much worse for them, but there arent many reasons to feel optimistic about this lineup.
Were taking a leap and trusting Anyones Legend to sweep.
THUNDERTALK GAMING vs FUNPLUS PHOENIX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | TT +210 at BetOnline | FPX -285.71 at BetOnline |
When: | June 4, 2024 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
ThunderTalk Gaming retained their roster for the LPL 2024 Summer season but made some changes to the coaching personnel, adding Xiao Vlone Chu-Yu as a new analyst. But with Chou “AFei” Cheng-Ting staying put and no new player arrivals, those changes dont move the needle too much.
Last split, ThunderTalk had their moments. However, even though they didnt have any critical weaknesses, they also struggled in some areas of the game — mainly in the transition from early to mid.
FunPlus Phoenix have kept all their players from last split and made just one change with the arrival of top laner Zhao “TheNiu” Yong-Zhuo, who might not even start. Keeping the roster together is a reasonable move, as FPX had a very strong run though the first split before they fell apart in the playoffs.
FunPlus Phoenix looked a bit raw in the spring, but this is an excellent squad with huge upside. This squad will surprise many by the end of the season, but theyll likely need some time to get going, so well tame our expectations for their LPL 2024 Summer Placements opener.

]]>The post Invictus Gaming rebuild LoL roster with Vampire signing appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The 18-year-old’s arrival is part of a significant roster rebuild, which the Chinese team initiated following a concerning run through the LoL Pro League (LPL) 2024 Spring.
As one of the league’s most successful teams, Invictus Gaming haven’t accomplished anything since their semifinal appearance at the 2019 LoL World Championship. And despite not reaching a single LPL playoff stage in the 2023 season, IG decided to run it back with the same five in 2024.
Initially, Invictus saw some success and found themselves in the running for a mid-table finish. But they ran out of steam in the latter stages of the regular season, barely clinching a spot in the playoffs.
Unfortunately, their playoff run was rather short-lived, ending in the first round with a 2-3 loss to Weibo Gaming. Two months later, and with the summer season knocking on the doors, Invictus Gaming decided to rebuild.
A day after parting ways with jungler Lu “Leyan” Jue, mid-laner Yuan “Cryin” Cheng-Wei, and ADC Zhang “Wink” Rui, IG promoted top-laner Cheng “ZUIAN” Zi-Hao, jungler Li “glfs” Hao, and ADC Zhao “neny” Zhi-Hao from the academy roster and added Vampire as the new starting support.
Out of the four new arrivals, neny and Vampire are the only players with some experience in China’s top flight.
Vampire debuted in the LPL with EDward Gaming, who signed him as starting support for the LPL 2024 Spring season. He also attended the pre-season NEST 2023 and Esports Shanghai Masters 2023, which EDward won with a 3-1 victory over Gen.G in the finals.
Throughout LPL 2024 Spring, Vampire played 37 maps but posted somewhat underwhelming numbers. With a 29.7% win rate and 1.9 KDA, Vampire ranked as one of the worst supports in the league.
However, that number reflected his team’s performance more than Vampire’s talent.
Vampire will debut for Invictus Gaming in the newly introduced LPL Summer Placements stage, set to start on June 1. There, IG will play in Group D, alongside Anyone’s Legend, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Weibo Gaming, and Ultra Prime.
The event will feature all 17 teams, divided into four double round-robin groups based on their placement in the spring season.
All matches will be best-of-three series and include a unique ‘fearless draft’ rule, forcing teams to pick any champion only once during the series.

]]>The post T1 v Team Liquid LoL betting picks & odds – MSI 2024 Stage 2 appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>Team Liquid and T1 will clash on Wednesday in the lower section of the Mid-Season Invitational 2024 bracket stage. It will be their first meeting since the 2023 League of Legends World Championship, and despite all the roster changes on Liquid’s side, the rematch is expected to end with another T1 victory.
Team Liquid have already exceeded expectations in this tournament by beating Fnatic 3-1, but that result indicates the other side’s lack of stability more than anything. Even though Liquid played relatively well on the day, they have shown nothing over the journey to suggest they can go all the way.
T1 started the tournament with a deserved victory against G2 Esports, only to be humiliated by Bilibili Gaming last Sunday. T1 played poorly on the day, but it’s not like they were very clean against G2 Esports either, suggesting they aren’t as sturdy as they were portrayed to be.
The question is not so much about whether T1 will win, but about what Team Liquid can do. The favourites are the superior team by all metrics, and despite their iffy showings, T1 are still serious MSI 2024 title contenders.
This is T1’s game to lose; however, considering they are a bit inconsistent and Team Liquid have momentum on their side, there is value in backing the North American champions to take a map at +200 with the top LoL betting sites.

]]>Top Esports and G2 Esports will face off on Tuesday, May 14, in the second round of the losers’ bracket at Mid-Season Invitational 2024. Both squads dropped down to the lower bracket following close five-map defeats against Korean LoL esports teams, yet while their results look similar, Top Esports are priced as firm favourites for this match.
Top enter this fixture off a painful 2-3 defeat against Gen.G. While the result was fair, it also proved that the tournament’s top teams are much closer than the League of Legends betting markets are suggesting.
The question here is whether G2 Esports belong in that category. They performed well against T1 last Friday, and while they came up short on the day, they were close enough to indicate their head-to-head price of +462 was completely off.
T1 didn’t look good in their next series against Bilibili Gaming on Sunday, which also affects how people will see G2 Esports — as a team that nearly defeated a struggling side. But the eye test proves G2 are no slouches and more than capable of holding their own against elite opposition.
Top Esports have side choice for this match — a notable advantage, considering the blue side has a 54.5% win rate this tournament. But we saw G2 Esports defeat T1 on the red side, and across all series between top contenders, the side selection hasn’t seemed to affect performances too much.
Even though Top Esports are a very stacked team, they’re also somewhat inconsistent. So even though they performed well against Gen.G, having them priced as -250 favourites seems a bit optimistic. The outsiders are good enough to keep this series close, if not win it.
