]]>The Russian team bounced back from the lower bracket to clinch the title and show they a force in the Dota 2 esports world.? ?
Despite their slow showing in the recently concluded Summer Tour regional league, LGD started in the tournament as one of the preferred Chinese teams to take home the win. However, when competing offline, the team showed that they had no rust.? ?
PSG.LGD dominated the group stage and, in their first meetings, won against top esports teams like OG Esports, Spirit, and BOOM Esports. They lost only one map in the group stage at the hands of OG.

Although LGD hoped to meet up with Team Aster, the team’s regional rivals, their hopes were dashed by Spirit, who were itching for a rematch.? ?Aside from wanting the runback, Team Spirit aimed at the continuous development of their legacy before the upcoming The International 2022.
Both teams gave their best against each other as they both wanted desperately to win the title. However, judging from how the latter team approached the competition, Spirit obviously came into the rematch with new and improved strategies. These dynamic strategies, as well as the team’s enthusiasm to experiment, helped them get the drop on LGD during the grand finals.
Spirit’s eagerness to experiment was shown when they picked Queen of Pain two times, regardless of the hero’s previous winless status leading to the game.? ?Besides game two, where LGD seemed to be just a step behind, the match with LGD saw Spirit capitalize on team brawls and use strong plays under vision to ensure their spots.
LGD seemed on the verge of getting an early victory in Game four; however, Spirit stayed on long enough to repay their 0-2 loss by closing the game with 3-1. ? ?Game two was 75 minutes long, and towards the end, LGD looked like they were just a step away from closing in on Spirit.
The entire match served to signify the beginning of Spirit’s ascension as well as promote the new True Sight covering TI10. ? ?True Sight is a Dota 2 YouTube docuseries which tracks the journey of The International (TI) champions. Team Spirit’s documentary, which will show the team’s run during the International 2021, will be aired on September 24. ? ?
The YouTube documentary will show behind-the-scenes videos of the esports team when they faced and lost and won against LGD. The upcoming series is the longest fans have had to wait for a documentary from Valve.
The recently concluded PGL Dota 2 Arlington Major was the first time Chinese teams officially attended a regional event for the 2022 Dota Pro Circuit that took place offline.
Xtreme Gaming was the only exception, as the team ended up pulling out of the event after having visa problems. The other three Chinese esports teams made it through to the playoffs with Aster and LGD, placing in the top three teams of the event. ?
?At the moment Evil Geniuses, Outsiders, Tundra Esports, Spirit, beastcoast, Gaimin Gladiators, and Aster have all earned direct invites to the TI11 via the Arlington Major. The event also marked the official end of the Summer Tour for DPC this year. The next few months will see the rest of the TI11 eight slots allocated according to the results of the Last Chance Qualifier and the regional qualifiers.

Six of the top ten Dota 2’s most viewed games were held between 2021 and 2022. The recent high viewership figures of Dota 2 events indicate the title’s revival in the esports scene.?
?The event was the organiser’s first Dota 2 Major in 2022 and occurred offline at the Esports Stadium Arlington.

The International 10 is currently the most watched event in Dota 2 esports history, with a record of around 2.7 million peak viewership. The viewers tuned in for the drawn-out grand final battle between Team Spirit and PSG.LG.

However, it has also been held in Canada, Germany, China, Romania and just last year, Bucharest.?
?No further information, such as the ticket prices or the corporation in charge of the production of the anticipated tournament, has been supplied by Valve. The betting odds for the tournament are also unavailable and will be featured on the top esports betting sites at a closer date to the event.

OUTSIDERS vs ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Outsiders need at least a top-eight finish in Arlington to qualify for The International, but likely a top six or even top four assuming top contenders don’t get eliminated sooner. It’s an achievable goal for the Russian squad, who have a 20-6 (76.9%) record since moving away from the Virtus.pro banner – the overall best out of any team this season.
The sample size of games is rather small, but Outsiders have won against big regional opponents in BetBoom, Spirit, and MindGames. Much of the team’s success is due to the arrival of Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev who might be exactly what Outsiders needed to reach new heights, especially on LAN. This is a very scary team, but there are also many unanswered questions, mainly how will the young core perform on LAN and how long it will take other teams to figure them out.
Royal Never Give Up topped the Chinese DPC, finally breaking out of PSG.LGD’s shadow and establishing themselves as one of the elite Dota 2 teams. But, we have not seen RNG play much outside of their region – just dabbling at the Riyadh Masters, where they placed fifth-sixth, albeit with only one loss against Team Spirit.
As the latest Dota 2 betting odds suggest, this match is close to 50/50, which sounds right, but we are leaning towards Outsiders.
QUINCY CREW vs TEAM LIQUID Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Quincy Crew are one of the most exciting teams to watch, and you have to rank them higher knowing that the current roster is very similar to the Quincy Crew, which was consistently good on the international stage a while back. Moreover, QC have done well in domestic competitions this season.
Although Quincy Crew’s only title came in January, when they won the first North American DPC Tour, they’ve since claimed two bronze medals – from Tour 1 Regional Finals and Tour 2 – and they finished second in the final DPC tour in the middle of July.
But despite Quincy Crew’s achievements this season, they’re not as good as Liquid, who turned up the tempo at the end of the Western Europe DPC, beating OG twice to secure gold and valuable DPC points. You can argue that Liquid’s resurgence is nothing more than a flash in the pan, but this team has no obvious strategic or player weaknesses.
BOOM ESPORTS vs TUNDRA ESPORTS Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

?We had high expectations for BOOM ahead of the Stockholm Major, but the Southeast Asian squad fell apart and placed 9th-12th. They’ve since bounced back with a near-perfect run through the regional DPC tournament, later qualifying for ESL One Malaysia by winning the closed qualifiers.
It’s also worth noting that BOOM’s iffy showing in Sweden had something to do with the team arriving in Europe late, yet they still went on to draw five series and lose two – one against Tundra, who ended in third.
Tundra Esports are one of the most consistent Dota 2 esports teams of the season, and there is no other squad more deserving of qualifying for TI. They were excellent in Stockholm and won the final WEU DPC tour. They even had a chance to make a splash in Riyadh but got eliminated by Team Spirit.
Tundra Esports are rightly priced as favourites, but at +162, BOOM Esports seem a bit underrated. They’re easily one of the top-eight teams in Arlington and, as shown before, more than capable of beating top squads. Value is with BOOM Esports.
