Wildcard are one of the weakest Rainbow Six Siege teams in the North America League. They have already lost three games in regulation at this stage; however, they beat Oxygen Esports last Thursday, which was a good sign.
DarkZero Esports performed poorly in their 2-7 defeat to Soniqs to open the stage, but they have since beaten Spacestation Gaming and LOS. It’s not a terrible start for Roberto “Panbazou” Feliciano and company, but we will have to see more from DarkZero to make any firm conclusions.
The departure of Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski has put DarkZero Esports in a questionable spot. Still, while they should do worse without the 28-year-old veteran, DarkZero are unlikely to struggle against one of the bottom teams in the region.

Oxygen Esports are 0-0-1-2 with a -7 round differential. They have so far lost to Spacestation Gaming, LOS, and Wildcard, although they should have won the most recent of those series. This core has been together for over six months, so there is no excuse for Oxygen’s struggles.
M80 are not one of the leading contenders to win the league, but they have done well beating Cloud9 Beastcoast and Wildcard Gaming and forcing Soniqs to overtime. That is a promising run, but like with most other mid-table teams, M80 still need to show more against the top sides.
While M80 are rightly favourites with top Rainbow Six Siege betting sites, their odds look far too short. With a 3.5-round advantage at -156.25, Oxygen are the clear choice.

Luminosity Gaming are 2-0-0-2 with six points; however, they still have a lot more to prove, having only beaten M80 and LOS. On the other hand, Luminosity posted good results in Stage 1, and they did not do too poorly during the Esports World Cup 2024.
With the signing of Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski, Soniqs became the leading contenders to win the league, and they have started strongly. So far, Soniqs have beaten Wildcard, DarkZero Esports, and M80, although they lost their most recent outing against Spacestation Gaming in overtime.
Even though Soniqs have failed to produce a perfect record, it is hard to doubt them against any team outside of the top three.

The second week of the Six Invitational will feature the 16 teams that qualified for the playoffs, with each competing in a double-elimination bracket over the next seven days.
After both G2 Esports and Soniqs ended the group stage with four wins and no losses, they will go into the playoffs as overwhelming favourites to take out the US$3 million tournament.
G2 are attempting to defend their Six Invitational crown after winning in 2023, while Soniqs are seeking to bring up their maiden Six Invitational triumph.

PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR B
The PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR B will take place in an offline environment in Bucharest, Romania, where eight of the world’s top 20 Counter-Strike teams will feature in a 16-strong field.
Teams that win three series will qualify for the Major, and any side that racks up three series losses will be eliminated.
Only eight squads will earn automatic qualification; however, the teams that finish ninth, 10th, and 11th will play in the Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place on February 23–24.

]]>PUBG took to its Twitter page to announce the new development. The post also featured a minute-long video clip and a link to a statement.
“We are excited to announce our eight founding Global Partner Teams,” the organizers tweeted.
“Congratulations to the new PUBG Esports 2023 Global Partner Teams and our greatest thank you to all the teams that showed interest in our new GPT program.”
The PUBG Esports partner team program was launched in December 2022, offering a new level of support to participating teams. Similar to partner leagues such as the Valorant Champions Tour, the program will provide increased financial rewards for teams and ensure a spot in the 2023 PUBG Global Series, which is scheduled to be held in April and September.
The partner teams were selected through a rigorous evaluation process led by a committee created specifically for this purpose. The committee evaluated applications from teams based on three main factors �C governance, fandom, and history.
“A PUBG Esports evaluation committee was created to review applications, and each submission went through a final check under three major categories: Governance, Fandom, and History,” the statement read.
“An organization’s ability and will to participate in the PUBG Esports journey and help to develop an even stronger ecosystem were key factors in the selection methodology. Additional criteria such as past performance in top-tier events were also included.”
The ‘Governance’ factor assessed the stability and future commitment of the team to the PUBG Esports scene. The ‘Fandom’ factor measured the team’s ability to generate a large and valuable fanbase. Finally, the ‘History’ factor considered the team’s previous success in PUBG events.
PUBG Esports also announced plans to hold regional events in Asia, the Americas, APAC, and EMEA regions to find the best teams for PUBG events. Non-partner teams will also have a chance to participate in PUBG Esports events in 2023 through a series of qualifiers. This will provide opportunities for up-and-coming teams to showcase their skills and make a name for themselves in the competitive gaming world.
The announcement of NAVI, Gen.G, and FaZe Clan — all major esports brands — as partner teams for the 2023 season of PUBG Esports is perceived to have marked a significant milestone for the PUBG competitive gaming scene. The partner team program is also said to be a step in the right direction for PUBG Esports by fans, as it will help establish a strong and competitive ecosystem.

]]>At the qualifiers match, the team faced off against OREsports, and despite battling so hard, they went home losing the match with a 2-1 score despite having an initial 9-3 lead. OREsports came back stronger with a 14-12 lead, winning the game in overtime, and emerging as the last team to qualify for the Challengers.

Soniqs released a statement stating they have terminated the contracts of the entire Valorant roster, and they also bid the players farewell, wishing them all the best in their future endeavors.

The players from the disbanded Valorant roster include Dylan “runi” Cade and William “shonk” Kittrell, both of whom joined the team in April of last year; former Gen.G Esports player Bryce “PureR” Lovell; 23-year-old Vietnam player Kevin “mina” Nguyen; and Michael “nerve” Yerr, who recently joined them in November 2022.
Most of the players have taken to their official Twitter handles to share their heartfelt gratitude to the esports outfit for the time spent with them, and they also went further to keep their fans abreast with their next move while declaring themselves free agents, hoping for a Valorant team to take a chance with them.
“Thank you to @SoniqsEsports for everything over the past year.With that being said I will be LFT as a unrestricted player or a coach, my ability to frag and IGL I believe would be beneficial to any roster. Also open to ANY paid coaching gigs,” runi stated.
According to PureR, who joined the team in November of last year and has played for top teams such as XSET and Gen.G Esports, the team spent long hours practicing, trying to make sure they earned a spot in the NA Valorant Challengers League, but to no avail.

Currently, it is unknown if the esports outfit will field another Valorant roster to meet up to compete in other Valorant tournaments or if their run in the Valorant scene will be on hold for the 2023 season or for a longer run.
As of the time of this writing, no player has been revealed to have joined another new team, which might take a longer time to achieve for the players, as almost all rosters across Valorant and other esports titles have been locked in already. Nevertheless, some lucky players may already be in talks with other teams or will be filling in on other rosters as substitute players.

]]>The 23-year-old player will be making a move after just parting ways with European esports outfit G2 Esports after spending about two years with the team and achieving top spots with the team. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the team for the support they gave him.
“After two years with the team, I am leaving G2 Esports with a heavy heart, because with her I have experienced all the ups and downs, good times and bad, and gave it my all. Thanks to G2 Esports, players and staff for believing in me. But now it��s time to move on to a new chapter in my career,” he said.
G2 Esports also made a Twitter post wishing the player farewell in his future endeavors.
“From carrying in game to carrying the memes.Today we say goodbye to @CTZNr6. Best of luck in the future,” G2 Esports tweeted.
According to reports, CTZN will be replacing American Flex player Evan “Kanzen” Bushore, who was sent to the inactive roster on January 2 of this year, just after the Soniqs’ semi-final participation at the J?nk?ping Major.
CTZN started his career in 2018 and has since made headway, performing in top tournaments and representing some of the best Rainbow Six Siege teams. The British player represented a list of European teams before his move to the North American region. These teams include Team BOOST, MnM Gaming, and Natus Vincere, which he was signed to in 2019 before landing a break in G2 Esports on March 3, 2020.
The player��s success includes being named by SiegeGG as the 6th best player of Year 5. This was earned by his display of a strong skill set in various tournaments, such as the 2019 Pro League Season 10-Finals, where CTZN and Natus Vincere emerged as the winners, grabbing home the $100,000 prize money. With the same momentum, the British prodigy also replicated the same success streak, with G2 Esports garnering a first-place finish at the 2020 European League Finals, although subsequently at the 2021 Six Invitational the team came down to a 13�C16 place finish, losing to the North American squad, Parabellum Esports.
Nonetheless, more recent matches like the 2022 Sox Charlotte Major and the Six Berlin Major saw CTZN and G2 Esports emerge in fifth�Ceighth place, taking home $20,000 in prize money, respectively.
CTZN will be joining other Rainbow Six Siege Soniq players such as the 22-year-old American flex player Pablo “Gryxr” Rebeil, the American entry fragger player Richie “Rexen” Coronado, the Mexican support player Emilio “Geometrics” Leynez, and Shaun “Gunnar” Pottorff, who joined the team in September 2022.

]]>Although they were denied a partnership by Riot Games for the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), Soniqs are still focused on taking on other Valorant regional events in the coming year.
According to the tweet by the organization, the 2023 Valorant roster will consist of former XSET player Bryce “PureR” Lovell, Vietnamese-born Kevin “mina” Nguyen, former Cosmic Divide player Michael “nerve” Yerrow, and two other players who have been on the team for a couple of months now, Dylan “runi” Cade and William “shonk” Kittrell.
Already, organizations are working toward the goal of assembling rosters that are strong enough to fight for a seat in the VCT, particularly in North America, where there is a rich pool of skilled players, and Soniqs have taken the lead by making some impressive acquisitions.
The addition of PureR is the most notable change. XSET’s success in the 2021 VCT tournament was largely due to the American duelist’s contributions. He has also represented Gen.G Esports, joining them in April this year and leaving in July.
Mina and nerve come to Soniqs from Cosmic Divide, an organization-less team that has been active in North America’s second- and third-tier competitions over the past two years. Mina has been the one predominantly playing the chamber role of late, whereas nerve has taken on the position of controller.
On the other hand, ruin and skonk have been in the organization since April of this year. Both previously played for the now-disbanded Zero MarksMen Black, who they helped to first place in the Vanguard Championship Series LAN tournament.
This past season, Soniqs fielded a team consisting of players from both North America and Australia. Despite their best efforts, the team was eliminated in the open qualifiers for the North American Esports Championship (NA VCT).
The beginning of an exciting new period in Valorant is right around the corner, and attention has already begun to shift to the next level of competition. Those who are longing for regional competition will have their needs met by the robust Challenger ecosystem that is scheduled to begin in January 2023.
