According to the offered Counter-Strike betting odds, this should be a quick and easy match for Team Vitality, and it’s tough to argue with that. Vitality won BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 a couple of weeks ago and Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023 a month before that, which is seriously impressive.
In contrast, Imperial Esports haven’t won a big event this year, nor have they beaten any good CS:GO squad since PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The quality gap between these two teams is massive, so unless something goes terribly wrong for Vitality, they should win.
However, Vitality must feel fatigued, and it’s not too uncommon for a squad that wins a Major to have a slow start in the next tournament. That’s not enough to believe Imperial Esports can cause an upset, but we’re getting a generous offer for the outsiders on the map handicap market.

Talent-wise, G2 Esports and Cloud9 are undeniably two of the most stacked rosters in the world. Another thing these two CS:GO squads have in common is poor form.
G2 Esports had an abysmal showing at the Paris Major, where they failed to reach the playoffs, whereas Cloud9 didn’t qualify for the Major but were just as disappointing at Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2023 (7th-8th).
G2 Esports won their last meeting with Cloud (16-13, 16-6) in April, but Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and co. were in good form then, so that result doesn’t hold much weight here. No matter how we look at it, this looks like a 50/50 match, so we don’t have to think twice before backing Cloud9 at around +138 with the top CS:GO betting sites.
Cloud9 to win
HEROIC vs COMPLEXITY CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | Heroic -1666.67 at BetOnline | Complexity +700 at BetOnline |

Regardless of their failure to win a single tournament in 2023, Heroic are the best-performing team of the year. This sounds like a hot take, but they are by far the most consistent team and more than capable of winning the BLAST Premier Spring Final.
Complexity are the complete opposite. Not only are they very inconsistent, but they’ve also not won a significant event this year and have not beaten a top-rated team once since February when they forced Heroic to three maps (1-2) at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.
Knowing all that, it makes sense for esports betting sites to price Heroic as heavy favourites, but the +700 on Complexity seems too generous. The Danes should win, but they also tend not to give their all when faced with weaker teams, so it’s not too wild to believe Heroic might drop a map.
