The tournament is scheduled to hold on July 12.<\/p>\n<p><b>Twitch Rivals Overwatch 2 Pride Showdown tournament details<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The tournament structure consists of eight teams with five players on each team and the tournament will be held across two stages &#8211; the group stage and the bracket stage. The eight Overwatch teams are paired into two groups of four teams each. The teams will go head to head in the group stage in a single \u201cControl\u201d map.<\/p>\n<p>The top two teams in the group will advance to the championship bracket. The championship bracket is structured as a standard single-elimination contest with a best-of-three format across Push, Escort, and Hybrid.<\/p>\n<p>The bottom two teams in the groups will go on to compete in the consolation bracket. The teams who finish the championship bracket victorious will advance to the grand finals. While the two losing teams will battle it out for the third place spot in the championship bracket.<\/p>\n<p>The eight teams will be led by eight captains, some of whom are members of the Overwatch LGBTQ+ community. <strong>Below are the eight captains for the tournament:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fitzyhere<\/li>\n<li>Fareeha<\/li>\n<li>Mendo<\/li>\n<li>Sleepy<\/li>\n<li>AnneMunition<\/li>\n<li>SaltyPhish<\/li>\n<li>Eskay<\/li>\n<li>Cuppcaake<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Trevor Project tournament will be streamed live on the Twitch Rivals channel from 4pm CT through to 9pm CT on July 12. It can also be watched on individual captains\u2019 channels.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first Twitch Rivals Overwatch 2 tournament and it is targeted toward raising money for the LGBTQ+ organization.<\/p>\n<p>Overwatch has also been involved with other charities prior to this day.
