Riot Games has released the All-LCK team lists and Korean esports organization Gen.G heavily dominated the announcement.

During the group stage, Gen.G reigned supreme, and their efforts earned them the top position on the points table in the League of Legends event. The team also became the third team of all-time in an LCK split to win up to 17 games.

With these accomplishments in mind, it is no surprise that four players from the franchise roster were picked to join the All-LCK First Team.

A player from T1, Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, was also given the top lane spot on the entire All-LCK First Team.

The player is the top performer in the top lane role and has the most impressive average kills when placed side by side with other top laners. Zeus also helped T1 more often than not whenever the team found itself in an unfavorable position.

The four players in Gen.G that made the All-LCK First Team are Han “Peanut” Wang-ho in the jungler role, Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk as the AD carry, Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon for the mid lane position and Son “Lehends” Si-woo for support.

This season, Peanut bested the rest of the selected players by having the best KDA as well as the lowest average death rate. Chovy also produced admirable results compared to other mid laners by having the best stats in nearly every parameter.

Ruler and Lehends were understandable picks for the positions of AD carry and support because the two have held down their bottom lane position in almost every match. The players outshone most of their enemy counterparts and were an integral part of helping matches move in the team’s favor.

Gen.G’s Choi “Doran” Hyeon-Joon was also picked as the top lane of the All-LCK Second Team. Other roles such as the jungle, mid-lane, and support positions were filled by T1 players such as Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, and Ryu “Keria” Min-seok.

Lee “Prince” Chae-hwan from Liiv Sandbox (previously known as Sandbox Gaming) was also called to play the AD carry for the second All-LCK team. Each of the mentioned players has excellent records from the regular season. However, compared to the players from the first team, their games have a lower level of impact.

The All-LCK Third Team consists of Liiv SANDBOX as well as KT Rolster’s players. Kim “Croco” Dong-beom, Lee “Clozer” Ju-hyeon and Kim “Kael” Jin-hong were all selected from SANDBOX for the positions of jungler, mid lane, and support. KT’s Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee and Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram were selected in the top lane and AD carry roles.

Both KT and SANDBOX have performed well this season and earned their places in the playoffs.

The players selected have shown mettle and brilliance while playing in their respective roles. While not as impressive as the players in the first and second teams, these gamers have helped their teams out of challenging situations and made them come out as victors.

The LCK summer playoffs kicked off earlier today with Gen.G and T1 as favorites to win the tournament on the top esports betting sites.
