{"id":7383,"date":"2019-05-17T02:07:21","date_gmt":"2019-05-17T02:07:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/?p=7383"},"modified":"2020-10-05T22:02:03","modified_gmt":"2020-10-06T02:02:03","slug":"csgo-star-k0nfig-facing-fresh-allegations-of-banned-alt-account","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/csgo-star-k0nfig-facing-fresh-allegations-of-banned-alt-account\/","title":{"rendered":"CS:GO star k0nfig facing fresh allegations of banned alt account"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kristian &#8220;k0nfig&#8221; Wienecke is facing allegations that he owned an alternative account which was VAC banned after a hacker gained access to his FACEIT profile.<\/p>\n<p>The Danish Counter-Strike player&#8217;s FACEIT account was infiltrated on May 15 by an unknown hacker who then posted on Discord a few words about previous allegations of a VAC ban.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEE ALSO: <a href=\"\/counter-strike\/\" title=\"CS:GO esports betting\">BEST CS:GO BETTING SITES<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While there were rumours that k0nfig had suffered a prior suspension to one of his alt accounts, those stayed unconfirmed. Nonetheless, it was claimed by the <em>Dust2.dk<\/em> website that Valve knew about the banned account in 2015, but did nothing.<\/p>\n<p>It is understood that Valve did not have enough evidence to punish the Dane then; however, with the new information surfacing, the firm may be forced to take action.<\/p>\n<p>The OpTic Gaming star confirmed on Twitter that his FACEIT account had been hacked:<\/p>\n<div class=\" embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Someone hacked my faceit xD<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Kristian Wienecke (@k0nfigCS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/k0nfigCS\/status\/1128686685053698048?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 15, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>The hacker then claimed k0nfig used the same email and password to log in into the account in question, which previously used names such as &#8220;k0nfig&#8221; and &#8220;kR1ST1AN&#8221;.
