SK Telecom T1 defeated Griffin on July 28 to extended their winning streak to an impressive run of seven, reminding everybody why they are the most successful team in League of Legends esports history.

A fierce battle in the LCK Summer Split continues into week eight with seven teams fighting for spots in the playoffs. Only two points separate first from seventh, so the scene is set for a tight finish.

While still two wins short of league leaders DAMWON Gaming, SK Telecom T1 have found their rhythm since week four and now look like their former selves.

To say SKT had a tough start to the split would be an understatement, as Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and his crew found themselves in a 1-5 hole by the end of week three.

Things did not look bright for the three-time world champions; however, as all LoL esports fans should know by now, SKT are not to be underestimated.

The star-filled roster entered week four determined to show their worth, which is exactly what they did by defeating both KT Rolster and Gen.G with a perfect score of 2-0.
